Admissions Forums
Held in select cities around the country, admissions forums are your chance to learn from the experts - including admissions representatives, financial aid counselors, local high school counselors, and University deans. Topics covered include not only Rochester, but also the college admissions process in general, standardized testing, undergraduate research, and more.
Interviews
From September - January, we meet with prospective students in one-on-one interviews. These are a chance for us to get to know you better and for you to ask us about Rochester.
If you can't make it, or there is no interviewing event near you, you can schedule an interview with an alumnus/a beginning in October on your MyROC page. Please note: priority will be given to Early Decision applicants requesting alumni interviews from October 1 through October 12.
If you live overseas and there is no interviewing event near you, you may email Jennifer Blask at jennifer.blask@rochester.edu to request a phone interview.

Research Rochester

Students can take an in-depth look at what Rochester has to offer. The program includes campus tours, a student services panel, faculty lectures and admissions interviews. Information regarding admissions and financial aid will be available along with opportunities for conversations with current students and administrators.
Holidays at Rochester
September 28 : October 12 : November 3 : November 11
Fall Holidays at Rochester programs will take place on days when secondary schools are often closed in recognition of a holiday. We are offering additional opportunities to tour campus, attend information session, eat on campus and have an admission interview.
Engineering at Rochester
Interested in engineering, computer sciences, math, or technology? Join us for Engineering at Rochester, an annual event for prospective students at the University of Rochester's Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Interview with an Admissions representative
If you're a senior or transfer student and wish to be considered for scholarships, don't forget to schedule an interview.
